Yes. Afternoon Tea is served in the Bluebird Lounge or Gold Room. The Signature Afternoon Tea is £24.50 per person and includes unlimited tea and coffee, finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and a selection of mini cakes. A Cocktail Masterclass experience with in-house mixologist Sita is also available at £39.95 per person. A £10 per person deposit is required for bookings of more than 6 people.
Yes, the Bubble Lounge serves food from brunch until 9pm, covering sandwiches, light bites, Collingwood Classics (steak, fish and chips, burgers), and desserts. Happy hour runs daily from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with 30% off selected draught beers, wine, and spirits (subject to availability). Please note happy hour may be limited on busy Saturday evenings when the hotel is hosting private functions.
Absolutely, non-residents are welcome across all dining areas, including the Gold Room, Bubble Lounge, Bluebird Lounge, and Secret Garden. The Gold Room serves breakfast at £15 per adult and an à la carte menu from 6pm. The Bubble Lounge serves food all day.
Yes. The kitchen caters for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free requirements. For afternoon tea, please give at least 24 hours' notice for special dietary requests. For dinner, just let the team know when booking.

Yes, there's a dedicated children's menu (£12.50) available at breakfast, dinner, and Sunday lunch. Children under 12 eat free on Sundays (one free child per paying adult, like-for-like courses). Additional children's portions on Sundays are available at £10.50. Highchairs are available on request.
Dinner is served in the Gold Room restaurant from 6pm until 9pm daily, with an early dining option also available in the lounge, subject to availability. Please book your table for dinner at Reception.
Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in the Gold Room restaurant. It's available to both residents and non-residents at £15 per adult and £8 per child. The kitchen uses produce sourced from local farms, seas and fields. To help everyone enjoy a relaxed breakfast experience, we kindly allocate breakfast time slots on our busier mornings, confirmed upon arrival.

Yes. We have two EV charging points on site, operated by E.ON, with a charge rate of 7kW, located on the lower level of the car park. These are available to hotel guests during their stay.
Yes, we have approximately 80 spaces on site, including 3 accessible spaces and 2 coach bays. Parking is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and does not need to be reserved in advance. On arrival, please register your vehicle with the Reception team. Car parking is charged at £12.50 per car, per day, from your arrival time until 12:00 pm on the day of check-out. Guests who book directly with the hotel benefit from complimentary car parking.
Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel, with access via Tregonwell Road.
The lower level of our car park is restricted to vehicles under 1.8m. If you're unsure whether your vehicle is suitable, please contact us in advance, and we'll be happy to help.
Yes, three designated accessible parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the main car park.
Guests who book to stay or dine directly with us enjoy complimentary parking for the duration of their stay. For reservations made through third-party booking sites, parking is charged at £12.50 per night.

The Eden Spa uses Sunday Solstice skincare products, a brand built around sustainability, botanical actives, and restorative touch.
Upon arrival, you will be provided with a robe, slippers, and a basket for your clothes, which you may use during your time with us. Please bring suitable attire for public spaces and swim wear for the pool and spa facilities. Please do not wear outdoor footwear in the spa or pool areas of the hotel.
There are several options, from a Simple Spa Day (3-hour access, robes and slippers, 10% off food and drink) through to the Tranquillity Spa Day with Afternoon Tea, which adds a 25-minute treatment and a complimentary glass of bubbly. Children are welcome to use the swimming pool when supervised by an adult. The spa treatment area is restricted to guests aged 18 and over, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Jacuzzi and Sauna are not permitted for children under 16 years old.
Spa treatments are available Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (closed Monday). The leisure suite: pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, is open daily from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Adult-only swimming times are between 7pm and 9pm.
We recommend arriving at least one hour before your treatment to make full use of the pre-treatment leisure suite, including the heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and rainfall showers. Late arrivals may result in a reduced treatment time.
Dog Friendly
Each dog-friendly room comes with water and food bowls, as well as locally made dog treats. You'll also receive a Welcome Pet Pack on arrival with local walk ideas, pet-friendly restaurants and cafés, and a Bournemouth beach guide.
Plenty; popular spots include Hengistbury Head, Studland Bay, Alum Chine Beach, and Bournemouth Beach. Dorset has over 7 miles of coastline within Bournemouth and Poole alone. Please note that certain beaches do not allow dogs during the summer months. The hotel blog has a full local walking guide.
Dogs are allowed in all areas except the Gold Room restaurant and the Spa. Breakfast can be served in the Bubble Lounge for guests who do not wish to leave their dogs in their room.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Bournemouth beach, pier, gardens, and town centre. Further afield, popular family days out include Farmer Palmers, Corfe Castle, Smugglers Cove crazy golf, Paultons Park, the New Forest, and the Russell-Coates museum.

Yes, guests of all ages are welcome. The hotel is family-owned and operates with families in mind, with children's menus at breakfast, dinner, and Sunday lunch, and all-day dining from the bar menu.
Family rooms and suites include king-size beds, pull-out sofa beds, and extra beds for children, with cots available on request (please note not all family rooms have king-size beds). All rooms are en-suite. Room service is available if you'd prefer to eat in, and younger guests are treated to warm cookies and milk at bedtime.

The Botanical Suite is a private room decorated in a neutral palette: fully flexible, with its own bar, access to the Secret Garden, and the Note Room for younger guests. The Gold Room is the hotel's elegant restaurant. Together they can seat up to 100 for a wedding breakfast or 150 for a buffet-style evening reception.
A celebrant ceremony is fully personalised and led by a professional celebrant, meaningful and completely your own, but not legally binding. A civil ceremony at the registry office is the legal marriage. Many couples do both: sign the legal paperwork quietly beforehand, then hold their celebrant ceremony with us as the main celebration.

While a celebrant ceremony isn't legally binding on its own, many couples sign the paperwork at the registry office beforehand and then celebrate with us as their main event. About the hotel
Hotel Collingwood occupies a Victorian building steeped in local history. The original owner, Sir Dan Godfrey, was the founder of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra; from the hotel, he could walk directly to the Winter Gardens where the orchestra performed. The building has since been carefully conserved and restored by the current owners.
